The WOYC is honored to join the City of Oakland Council President Lynette McElhaney in a Black History Month Celebration this Wednesday, February 24 from 6:00-9:00pm at City Hall, 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza. The theme is "Power of the People: Arts and Activism, 1966-2016". This is a celebration of the Black political, social and cultural contributions in Oakland! All proceeds benefit the WOYC. We are extending a special personal invitation to our community, residents and supporters to attend!
